Some Breeds of Cats

There are many breeds of cats; this article briefly examines the most famous races. Each race has marks and many times is easily recognizable. The cats have been crossed for many years, but the cats below are still bred purebreds.

The Russian Blue is a coating of silver-blue cat from Russia. The outer layer is large, everything is as soft and fluffy. The body is thin and elongated and the eyes are dark green. The breed is very intelligent and playful but can be shy among strangers. The breed is very loyal to its owners.

Another race is Abyssinia. The race is seen as originating in Egypt. This breed is active, colorful and strong. It is a medium-sized with a soft, silky, dense coat. The eyes are almond-shaped and can be gold, hazel, green or copper color. The race requires a lot of attention and is shy to strangers.

Burmese from Thailand. They are the eyes of gold or yellow. The Burmese was brown, but the selection was made available in several colors. This coat is short haired with a satin-like finish. A Burmese are intelligent, playful and even temperament.

One of the oldest races is the Egyptian Mau. The Egyptian Mau is the only natural and fastest race of spotted domestic cat. That short hair, soft and shiny and has a color scheme. The Siamese is the most vocal of all breeds and can easily skip. The Siamese is very intelligent and social.

Each race has its own appearance and behavior. As owner, you have to decide which features are important to you. Whether you choose a cat as those mentioned above, or a stray cat from an animal shelter, a cat made a faithful house pet when treated with love and kindness.
